Job Description Crown Staffing is seeking applications for a Controller position in Corydon, Indiana! This full-time opportunity is on the first shift and pays $95,000 yearly.
This is a permanent placement (direct hire) career opportunity!Job Requirements As a Controller, you can expect to:
oPrepare yearly budgets for plant incorporating input from staff.
Review budgets with management and staff by holding weekly financial reviews discussing methods of operating within budget guidelines.
Prepare updated quarterly/Yearly forecast and bridge analysis.
oReview weekly Voucher Register and Material Distribution Register for plant accuracy.
oTeam Development and Team Support at Plant Level.
oReview monthly financial and overhead details and operational staff support including education, training, and development efforts.
oPrepare Daily KPI's regarding labor variances.
oPrepare monthly Sales Forecast for current month and projected sales forecast for following two months.
oManage and complete month end, quarterly and yearend financial close process to related reporting to requirements.
oProvide financial support and oversight on OPEX/CI initiatives.
oMaintain and improve internal control environment to Martinrea policies and procedures.
oReview the cost analysis of projects in the CI Process providing financial support and input.
oProvide real cost analysis on parts identifying actual labor costs and material usage in comparison to standards.
oImplement Activity Base Costing for overhead allocation, maintaining current data and assist staff in proper effective utilization.
oReview process sheets and bills of material and monitor material usage to standards.
oLead, direct, and support efforts at providing team operational measurable, feedback, utilizing available financial reporting instruments.
oAbide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following:
Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee HandbookRequired Education and
Experience:
oComputer knowledge in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, As/400, WindowsoAccounting Software and various word-processing /spreadsheet software.

Degree minimum in Accounting or Financial Management.
oProfessional Accounting Experience.
oMin.
6 yrs.
experience in accounting preferably in a manufacturing environment.
oTraining and experience in several Accounting Software packages.
oSkills in Job Costing, Shop Floor Control and Labor Performance Software.
oFull accounting experience in financial preparation including all levels of activity.
oOrganization skills.
