Merchandising Manager

Louisville Tile Distributors is seeking a Merchandising Manager for our Corporate office.
The Merchandising Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining all Company merchandising on a macro level to align with company objectives and overall marketing and sales goals to enhance the Louisville Tile brand experience for customers.
This role aligns and sets consistent standard of expectations to ensure our sales tools satisfy the critical needs of Louisville Tile showrooms, field sales team, and core customers.
The Merchandising Manager must coordinate with many teams within Louisville Tile to ensure the sales path is smooth & effective.
Key client decision makers need to have effective merchandising tools for the Louisville Tile Distributors (LTD) product portfolio at hand at the time a selection is made so we can see successful growth.
This role requires forward thinking and an innovative mindset to create new sales opportunities that resonate with core customers & core sales channels.
The Merchandising Manager should have the ability to lead a team/s to support these efforts.
This role is passionate about innovation in the tile and construction industries with the ability to manage details, analyze data, and capacity to be a problem solver to drive the company's growth and success.
This role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of product, marketing principles, and building materials industry in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Oversee execution of all visual merchandising needs.
Displays, collated sample pack outs, literature, sample kits, display boards, signage, labeling, etc.
from design through deployment for internal and external vendors.
Following with tracking placements, and analysis of ROI.
Coordinate with product team, showrooms, samples & purchasing to bring in approved core vendor sample/merchandising updates for LTD showrooms and customers.
Work closely with the Product Team to understand what is critical and what is not, keeping close communication with all stakeholders.
Ensure merchandising purchases arrive on time for training or product launches by coordinating with product team throughout process.
Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and contractors to ensure timely and high-quality execution of merchandising initiatives.
This includes negotiating with vendors for the best possible rates and ensuring that all expenses are tracked and reported accurately.
Mitigate risks for challenges related to delays, product changes, resourcing, and reprioritization.
Create any necessary display literature or communications - planograms, checklists, directions, updates.
Working closely with sales and showrooms leads to ensure that merchandising programs are executed effectively.
Conduct store visits to assess merchandising effectiveness and adjust as needed.
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop tracking mechanisms to monitor progress against the project plan.
Work with Purchasing and Accounting to develop budgets for visual merchandising initiatives and allocate resources to maximize return.
Coordinate across teams to ensure we have a system in place to track the location of all merchandising in the field.
This must be convenient enough to gain compliance from the sales team, allowing for easy deployment of updates & detailed enough data for optimal analysis of ROI.
Work with Sales Force Development Team to integrate display ordering, delivery and sales tracking:
sizes, speed to market and correlation of merchandising tools to sales and other data analysis to help Sales Team and Product Team to evaluate line up.
Track and report on marketing budgets, expenses, and ROI to ensure effective allocation of resources.
This includes identifying which products are selling well, and which displays are generating the most customer engagement.
Work with Sample Manager on implementation of a bar code system for vendor sample/merchandising inventory for LTD showrooms and customers.
Goal to increase speed & accuracy for showroom inventory and allow designers to scan products to Selection Sheets.
Manage merchandising department employee(s) who may be creating pack outs, sample kits, or creating small one-off samples as needed for both private label lines and outside product vendors.
Research and stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing to bring innovative ideas and strategies to the table.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
Proven work experience in marketing or similar role in the building materials industry.
Proficiency in using marketing software and tools, CRM systems such as Salesforce, and design software.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
