Lead Production Associate

Mission:
Assists in leading small teams in production environment, helping achieve stated daily, weekly, and monthly goals for their department.
? Ensure their department produces and ships the products that exceed Customer expectation on delivery timeliness and product quality; as well as help in maintaining low costs, safety, and good morale.

Summary:
Understand and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural points as directed by leadership Continually be a positive role model for production teams, maintaining a positive and flexible attitude, following all the rules, procedures, and best practices in production; monitors the morale of team members Maintains and model a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events Continue to keep teams operating to established standard processes and best practices, leading from the front by staying engaged with team members, and back-filling as necessary during unexpected absenteeism Communicate about and inspire high performance, acts as a cheerleader - offering motivational feedback and instruction for new and underperforming team members Communicates daily, weekly, and monthly targets - and understands and can communicate where the team is performing related to those targets Prior to work starting in a work-area within their department, prepares the cell with regards to ensuring stock and needed equipment is present and working as needed Coordinates with warehouse, procurement, maintenance, and printer tech teams regarding department needs and issues Leads team meetings at the start of the shift - to include a review of the expected work for the day, any carryover issues from previous shift, quality issues, management communications, etc.

Facilitate small group activities for problem-solving, Kizan events, or with safety teams Participates in the training and development of new and existing team members Ensure product integrity with line checks and monitors area(s) so that products produced in the area(s) are following compliance and quality standards Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by following and enforcing sanitation standards Aid in administrative work and any other paperwork relative to shift operations Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to communicate and inspire performance Desire and ability to lead team members while under pressure Ability to train new and/or inexperienced hires patiently and diligently Enjoy working in a team-oriented environment; willingness to focus on needs of entire facility outside of own area(s) Ability to work different shifts including weekends, holidays, and extended hours Ability to perform basic computer tasks, or desire and ability to learn Ability to speak Spanish a plus Microsoft office knowledge and being familiar with computer.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
