We are a new pet hotel that provides boarding, grooming, and daycare services for dogs, and cats! Here at Resort 4 Paws, we love maintaining a fun, and social place for dogs to make new friends! Responsibilities - Train dogs using positive reinforcement techniques to improve behavior and obedience - Develop customized training plans based on individual dog needs and goals - Teach basic commands such as sit, stay, come, and heel - Address and correct behavioral issues such as aggression, separation anxiety, and excessive barking - Conduct group training classes and private training sessions - Provide guidance and support to dog owners on training techniques and strategies - Maintain accurate records of training sessions and progress Requirements - Previous experience in dog training or related fields such as animal handling, veterinary, equine, kennel, pet grooming, or pet sitting - Knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific training needs - Familiarity with positive reinforcement training methods - Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dog owners - Patience and empathy when working with dogs exhibiting challenging behaviors - Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and restrain larger dogs if necessary Note:
